Out smarted by gigantic gulls

Date: None specified. While we were on vacation in the outer banks of NC, we were doing some fishing. we casted out and soon looked back to see these huge gulls raiding our bait. we saw them later on bothering other fishermen... they seem to be really smart birds

Just a guess, but it looks a lot like a second winter Great Black-backed Gull.
