American Robin nest; 4 of 4 photos. At this point, the Robin is no longer sitting on the nest but rather standing over its newly hatched chicks. I am getting ready to take their photo but I get distracted. Two days after this photo was taken, I approach the nest to find ALL the Robins gone. I procrastinated too long; maybe next year I will get a second chance.
