Date: March 24, 2008 I've added this pic cause it looks so similar to the blue heron fly-by pic in the blue heron folder. Seems like grey and blue heron are quite alike.

I thought I would link to the similar image:

Wikipedia notes that the Grey Heron "...is closely related and similar to the American Great Blue Heron, which differs in slightly larger size, and chestnut-brown flanks and thighs."
