Blue wren

Blue wren

Location: Earth » Oceania » Australia » Queensland

Date: July 14, 2005

This is usually a female thing to do.
Checking him self out in the mirror.
These lively little fellas live here at my place all year round.
They spend a lot of time on the Barbed wire fences and in the Lantana.

Changed Taxon
Media was moved from ID Request. A new family for the site (Maluridae). My field guide shows a darker blue around the head and neck, but notes this is male breeding plumage, so that might be why he was checking out your mirror. :)
