Northern Flicker

Northern Flicker

Location: Earth » North America » United States » Texas » Williamson County

Date: November 26, 2006

Northern Flickers are winter-resident only in this area. Here, they are very shy, rarely seen except when they come to water. They prefer watering sites very close to cover. Occasionally, if natural food is meager, they will come to corn.
