Crow
There are several birds in my field guide with the general look of this one, all in the genus Corvus. The Torresian Crow and the Little Crow are the most likely. How close to the coast where you when this was taken? My field guide shows Torresian Crows along all of eastern Queensland, but the Little Crow range map shows them in southeast Qld. except for right along the Pacific coast.
