Common Grackle

Common Grackle

Location: Earth » North America » United States » Delaware » New Castle County

Date: February 23, 2008

I think that it is a Common Grackle rather than Boat-tailed event though the tail is rather large. Iridescent blue and purple plumage and bright yellow eye fits Common Grackle. Also, I am seeing just Common Grackle females not Boat-tailed females which are distinctive.
