Is this a broad-tailed hummingbird? My guide does not show ruby-throated hummingbirds in Colorado...

Thanks!

Another angle?
Do you have a shot of this bird from another angle? Looking at my Peterson Western guide, the shape of the tail is different between broad-tailed and ruby-throated.

No other shots of this one ... but I'll look for others taken around the same time/location.

Broad-tailed Hummingbird
At All About Birds, flight map for Broad-tailed Hummingbird shows that this species breeds in Colorado. Same site shows that Ruby-throated Hummingbird does NOT fly in Colorado; not even during migration. This eliminates the Ruby-throated Hummingbird from this location.

According to eNature, there are 6 hummingbird species in Rocky Mountains region. By description, only the Broad-tailed Hummingbird matches this photo.
