Not fish crows, so I'm guessing American.

Crows
I'm not familiar with fish crows, but they look really similar in the field guide. How did you conclude they aren't fish crows? Otherwise they should be American crows like you said.

Hi
Mike.
Although my knowledge of birds is basic, I can distinguish fish crows from American by the fish crow's nasally caw.
They are usually smaller than the American crow as well.
I would not expect to see a Northwestern crow around here, but that is where my lack of knowledge comes into play. I know some birds migrate, from north to south, and vica versa on the east coast, but no idea if any there is such a thing as east west migration, etc. (I understand if you're laughing!) If only I knew birds like I know spiders....

Crows
From Wikipedia and the USGS Site, the Northwest Crows are limited to the coast of Washington to Alaska, and no info regarding migration was given.

Let's call this one an American Crow. I just added a way to move images similar to BugGuide. Can you give it a try? Click the Select link just above the comments area. Then surf to the American Crows taxon page: (Corvus brachyrhynchos). From there, click the Move Selected Media to this Taxon link, and it should move.

Media was moved from ID Request.

Thanks
works great.
