Blue-faced Honeyeater

Blue-faced Honeyeater

Location: Earth » Oceania » Australia » Queensland » Mackay

Date: November 20, 1998

Found near entrance to trail at Eungella National Park. We watched this bird for some time in nearby trees before it landed here on our rental car.

The bare patch on the face appeared to be blue, but doesn't look so blue at this angle.

First Australian bird for BirdSite!
