This strange bird was active after dark on the boardwalk on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. My friend and I harassed it a bit and it could actually fly in the dark!
The eye color is a bit messed up because I had to fix the red eye ^_^

Night-Heron
I think it's some type of Night-Heron. I don't know which types are found in the Galapagos.
