We've seen a flock of these for a few days now- quick moving, hard to photgraph. South Shore, Utila, Bay Islandss of Honduras.

They are Calidris plovers (aka peeps as they are called in North America). Without a good picture they are really hard to put to species. I am certain these are not Sanderlings (Calidris alba), but one of the others. Least Sandpiper is my best guess from these shots. (BTW Sandpiper is a term referring to any shore-dwelling wader, so to speak.)
