Date: January 3, 2010 I usually have to take photos of the woodpeckers through a window, but this time this little guy let me stand outside next to the suet feeder and take his photo. He would take suet from the feeder then fly a couple feet over to this branch and stuff the suet in a tiny crevice. It then appeared that he would eat the suet from the crevice at his leisure, perched there on the branch, rather than try and hang on the feeder and eat...
