I couldn't get any closer to these since I was inside a building, and they were perching quite a distance away. Having a digital camera didn't help much either.
The Groove-billed Ani is most easily distinguished from the closely-related Smooth-billed Ani by is bill shape and grooves in the bill (duh...)
