Curve-billed thrasher in cholla

Curve-billed thrasher in cholla
Earth » North America » United States » Arizona » Pima County

Date: April 2, 2009 I only got two shots before it spooked, but it was in a cholla cactus right along the edge of a paved trail in Greasewood Park on the western fringe of Tucson. This species occurs right in town, too, where it is quite bold. I imaged this one in the morning with a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS using "auto" and the zoom, then cropped the resulting image.

Nice
This one turned out great. Thanks for the recent posting. I think Pima County, AZ is the best represented spot on the website right now. I may need to break the county down into regions or popular locations...do you have any to suggest?
