Female Ruby Throated Humminbird?

Female Ruby Throated Humminbird?
Earth » North America » United States » South Carolina » Beaufort County

Date: November 16, 2008 This little one perched on a branch for a good 10 minutes. I think it is a female Ruby Throated Hummingbird but would apreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

It looks like a female ruby-throat, and given that it's the most common species in the eastern U.S., I think you're right.

Thanks!
