Juvenile
This is a juvenile bird and since it has no white or yellow markings on the flight feathers I'm calling it a Cedar Waxwing juvenile.

Tip of tail is usually yellow, yours looks a little orange. This phenomenon is presumed to be diet-related.

Nice bird.

Please have the "Location" information match the location of the bird.

What is it?
Thanks for the info, I couldn't find it but now that I had something to look for I'm sure that you are right. I'll post a "portrait' of this bird under the proper name.

Heinrich
