This is an issue that I don't think BugGuide has had to deal with: domesticated animals. For now I'll just move those images to Anser cygnoides, but I'd welcome debate about how (or if) we should have domesticated birds on the site. We might want to treat them as 'captive' so that they won't impact any range maps that might get made based on the data here.
Mike, I will tag my domestic images as 'captive' and remove range data.
Tagging as captive should make for easy clean up should the images be recycled, correct?
Yes, I think the best way to do it now is to keep the range info out of the data fields and mark it captive. When I finally get time to work on the maps, I will also use 'captive' as a filter.
